Man arrested for lewd and lascivious conduct, DUI #2 in Wells River

WELLS RIVER — A man from Piermont, New Hampshire, has been arrested after allegedly engaging in lewd and lascivious conduct at the Wells River Fishing Access.

According to the Vermont State Police, Jon Gillespie, 59, was arrested today after troopers received a report of a male engaging in lewd and lascivious behavior.

Gillespie had left the scene but later returned and was found to be driving under the influence.

He was taken into custody and processed for the offenses of lewd and lascivious conduct upon an adult victim and driving under the influence.

The DUI charge was his second offense.

He was issued a citation to appear in Orange County Superior Court, Criminal Division on June 7.
