Marlow town sign removed, vandalism on the rise

1 min read

MARLOW — The iconic white “Town of Marlow” sign that greeted travelers entering the town from the south has been removed, leaving only a sawn-off stump.

It is unclear when the sign was removed, but Marlow Police are asking for the public’s help in their investigation.

Anyone with information is urged to call 603-208-8122.

In addition to the sign removal, the town has also experienced an uptick in what appears to be juvenile-driven vandalism, as well as an attempted early morning break-in in the village area.

The police are urging residents to be extra vigilant and to report any suspicious activity to the police.

It is important to note that 911 should be called for anything that requires an urgent response.

The Marlow Police have not released any information on suspects or potential motives at this time.

The investigation is ongoing.
