GEORGIA — A 19-year-old man from Milton was cited following an incident in Georgia yesterday.
Police say they were conducting speed enforcement on Route 7 near the Georgia Elementary School at around 11:50 p.m.
The speed limit on this section of Route 7 is 40 miles-per-hour.
Police say they observed a vehicle traveling 83 miles-per-hour, which is 43 miles-per-hour ****above the posted speed limit.
The vehicle was stopped without incident and the driver was identified as Nathan Kruger.
Kruger was mailed a VCVC for speed and issued a citation to appear in court for the offense of negligent operation and excessive speed.
