FAIR HAVEN, NY — New York State Police responded to Fair Haven State Park on July 14 at approximately 3:30 p.m. for a reported drowning incident in Little Sodus Bay.
Search efforts are underway involving the Cayuga County Sheriff’s Office Marine Patrol, the Wayne County Sheriff’s Office Marine Patrol, the Fair Haven Fire Department boat team, United States Coast Guard, and the New York State Police Underwater Recovery Team.
Members of the New York State Police Bureau of Criminal Investigation are also assisting at the scene.
The investigation remains ongoing. Additional information will be released as it becomes available.
