WOODBURY, NY — A man wanted on multiple homicide charges in Pennsylvania was arrested Saturday near Walmart after police say license plate reader cameras flagged the vehicle he was riding in.

Woodbury police identified the suspect as Amaury Rosado-Laboy, 43, who was wanted by Reading police on charges including two counts of first-degree murder.

Woodbury police officers conducted a felony traffic stop and took him into custody without incident.

The arrest involved the Woodbury Police Department, assisted by the Harriman Police Department, Monroe Police Department and the New York State Police.

Rosado-Laboy was charged in Orange County as a fugitive from justice and is being held in the Orange County Jail pending extradition to Pennsylvania.
