VIENNA, NY — A Grand Island man was arrested July 14 following a criminal mischief investigation.

Members of the Road Patrol Division responded Aug. 3 to the North Shore Golf Club regarding a criminal mischief complaint.

Deputies learned that it appeared as if someone drove onto the golf course on either a four-wheeler or UTV and caused damage to the greens.

The case was turned over to members of the Criminal Investigations Unit.

Daniel M. Tyson, 22, of Grand Island, was arrested and charged with criminal mischief in the second degree, a class D felony.

Tyson was processed at the Kurt B. Wyman Law Enforcement Building and turned over to the Oneida County Correctional Facility for centralized arraignment.
