LE ROY, NY — A lawnmower fire that threatened a home on East Main Road was extinguished by police and firefighters working together.
Officer Louis Scafetta of LeRoy used a fire extinguisher to help knock down flames that had begun melting the home’s siding.
The fire was fully engulfed when crews arrived, but it was contained before spreading to the house.
No injuries were reported.
