MANCHESTER, NH — A Manchester man was seriously injured in an impairment-related crash at the Interstate 93 and Interstate 293 split in Manchester.
At 10:50 p.m. on Monday, July 13, state troopers assigned to the Troop B barracks responded to a reported single-vehicle crash at the I-93 northbound to I-293 northbound split in Manchester.
Witnesses reported that the vehicle swerved and then went off the road at the split.
The vehicle, identified as a gray 2017 Jeep Grand Cherokee, crashed in the woods, coming to rest approximately 200 feet off the road, and was badly damaged.
The driver of the Jeep was identified as Casey Fleming, 25, of Manchester.
Fleming suffered serious but non-life-threatening injuries and was transported to a local hospital for treatment.
As a result of the preliminary investigation, he was later arrested and charged with misdemeanor driving while intoxicated – second offense.

One lane was closed for approximately 45 minutes while the Jeep was removed from the road.
Troopers were assisted by members of the Manchester Fire Department.
All aspects of the crash remain under investigation.
