Man arrested on retail theft charges in Warrington

WARRINGTON, PA — A 35-year-old man was arrested on retail theft charges after allegedly leaving a Walmart with merchandise without paying.

Ronald Anthony Green-Jones, of Philadelphia, was taken into custody July 12 by Warrington Police.

Loss prevention personnel detained Green-Jones in the store’s vestibule after he selected $188.72 worth of merchandise and exited without paying, police said.

During a search after the arrest, officers found a marijuana cigar on Green-Jones, according to police.

Green-Jones was transported to the station for processing.

He was arraigned by Judge Chichilitti, who set bail at $1,000 unsecured.

Green-Jones faces charges including retail theft, receiving stolen property and prohibited acts; penalties.

He is presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
