ORWELL, VT — A driver was cited for excessive speed after being observed traveling 30 mph over the posted limit on Vermont Route 22A.
Troopers from the Vermont State Police New Haven Barracks were on patrol in Orwell at approximately 4:38 p.m. on July 11.
They observed a vehicle traveling southbound on VT RT 22A at a speed of 70 mph in a 40 mph zone.
A traffic stop was conducted, and the operator was identified as Kobe R. Roberts, 26, of Poultney.
Roberts was cited for excessive speed and ordered to appear in Vermont Superior Court – Addison County Criminal Division on Aug. 31 at 12:30 p.m.
