SOUTH WINDSOR, CT — Police arrested a local man Wednesday on charges including risk of injury to a child, disorderly conduct, third-degree assault and second-degree threatening.
Tyler J. Catlett, 27, of South Windsor, was taken into custody on an active arrest warrant at 7 p.m., according to police.
The charges stem from a domestic violence incident in late June, when officers responded to a residence after receiving reports of a male party screaming that he was going to kill the female victim.
During the investigation, police determined Catlett assaulted the victim by slapping her and grabbing her by the throat.
Catlett also threatened to kill the victim while in the presence of a juvenile, police said.
He fled the scene before officers arrived.
An arrest warrant was sought, and Catlett turned himself in at police headquarters, where he was processed and released on a $2,000 non-surety bond.
He is scheduled to appear in Manchester Superior Court at 9 a.m.
