BUFFALO, NY — State troopers arrested two suspects after a stolen vehicle fled from police on Bailey Avenue.
Troopers out of SP Clarence observed a 2011 Ford on Bailey Avenue that was reported stolen from Buffalo at 9:14 p.m. July 7.
Troopers attempted a traffic stop and the stolen vehicle fled.
Two suspects jumped out of the vehicle on Yonkers Avenue and fled on foot.
Troopers with Buffalo Police Department located and arrested both suspects.
Nahiah S. Anderson, 21, of Buffalo was charged with criminal possession of stolen property in the third degree, obstruction of governmental administration in the second degree and resisting arrest.
A 17-year-old suspect was charged with criminal possession of a loaded weapon in the second degree, criminal possession of stolen property in the third degree and obstruction of governmental administration in the second degree.
The 17-year-old was in possession of a Ruger pistol.
Both suspects were transported to SP Clarence and processed.
The 17-year-old was released, and Anderson was transported to Buffalo Police Central Booking.
