MECHANICSBURG, PA — Police were dispatched to the intersection of North Washington Street and West Allen Street at 1:35 p.m. on June 21 for a crash.
Officers determined a vehicle was traveling south on North Washington Street when the driver is believed to have had a medical event.
The vehicle left the roadway and struck a stone wall at the entrance to Memorial Park.
The driver attempted to leave the scene by driving northbound on North Washington Street before witnesses stopped the vehicle.
The driver was transported to a hospital for evaluation.
The vehicle was towed from the scene.
