Man killed, 5 others wounded in shooting in Boston

BOSTON, MA — A 29-year-old man was killed and five others were wounded in a shooting early Sunday morning in Roxbury.

Officers assigned to District B-2 responded to a radio call for a person shot in the area of 120 George Street at approximately 3:14 a.m. on July 5, 2026.

Upon arrival, officers located three victims suffering from gunshot wounds in the area of 120 George Street.

All three were treated and transported by Boston EMS to local hospitals.

One victim was pronounced deceased at the hospital.

That victim has been identified as Christopher Washington-Conway, 29, of Boston.

The second victim’s injuries are considered life-threatening at this time.

The third victim’s injuries are non-life-threatening.

At 4:06 a.m., three additional victims self-applied to a local hospital suffering from non-life-threatening gunshot wounds that occurred at the same location.

The Boston Police Department’s Homicide Unit is actively reviewing the facts and circumstances surrounding this incident.
