OLD LYCOMING TOWNSHIP, PA — A man was arrested on a defiant trespassing charge July 4.
Douglas Eugene Goodwin, 35, of Williamsport, was taken into custody by Lycoming Regional Police Officers.
The incident occurred at a residence in Old Lyoming Township where the victim had previously had Goodwin trespassed from the property.
Officers had advised Goodwin on July 2 that he was trespassed from the property.
Goodwin returned to the location twice on July 4.
He sat at an outdoor table for approximately 40 minutes before leaving the property.
He later returned to the location and opened the gate to the yard, but fled upon hearing the victim’s dogs barking.
Goodwin was taken to the Lycoming County Prison on a probation detainer.
A warrant was requested for his arrest.
Goodwin is charged with defiant trespass, a third-degree misdemeanor.
