STROUDSBURG, PA — Stroud Area Regional Police arrested a man on outstanding warrants Friday night during a fireworks incident.
Kasan Khalil Hall-Williams, 30, of Pennsylvania, was taken into custody at 11:23 p.m. Friday as he was attempting to light a mortar firework.
Hall-Williams was wanted on warrants charging him with theft by unlawful taking, receiving stolen property and two counts of forgery.
The warrants were issued Oct. 31, 2024, by Magisterial District Judge Gasper.
Hall-Williams was transported to the Monroe County Correctional Facility.
The arrest followed an investigation that began Oct. 7, 2024, when Stroud Area Regional Police were requested to investigate an incident at Pocono Pistol Range in Stroudsburg.
Police said Hall-Williams provided misinformation in an attempt to purchase a handgun on Feb. 10, 2024.
Hall-Williams was not allowed to purchase or possess a firearm in Pennsylvania, according to police.
