WILDWOOD, NJ — Three people face multiple drug charges following a traffic stop and subsequent vehicle search that yielded distribution quantities of crack cocaine, methamphetamine and heroin.
Members of the Wildwood Police Department Patrol Division conducted a motor vehicle stop in the 4300 block of New Jersey Avenue on June 27, 2026, at approximately 1:23 p.m. after observing a vehicle fail to stop at the posted stop sign at the intersection of Roberts Avenue and New Jersey Avenue.
The driver was identified as Colleen T. Booth, 44, of Wildwood.
The vehicle’s passengers were identified as George M. Flanigan, 42, of Woodbine, and Bobby L. Williams, 42, of Wildwood.
During the motor vehicle stop, officers observed drug paraphernalia in plain view within the passenger compartment of the vehicle.
A subsequent investigation led to the recovery of additional drug paraphernalia, suspected crack cocaine, Suboxone film strips and a quantity of wax paper folds commonly used in the packaging of heroin for distribution.
Booth and Flanigan, the front-seat passenger, were taken into custody and charged with drug-related offenses.
Both were subsequently lodged at the Cape May County Correctional Center.
Williams was not initially charged in connection with the narcotics investigation and was released at the scene.
The vehicle was seized and secured pending the issuance and execution of a search warrant.
A follow-up investigation was conducted by the Wildwood Police Department Detective Division.
A search warrant was obtained and executed on the vehicle at the Wildwood Police Department.
The search yielded distribution quantities of crack cocaine, methamphetamine and heroin, along with additional drug paraphernalia commonly used in the distribution of controlled dangerous substances.
Each occupant was additionally charged with three counts of third-degree possession with intent to distribute a controlled dangerous substance; three counts of third-degree possession of a controlled dangerous substance; third-degree possession of Suboxone; third-degree possession of amphetamine; third-degree possession of oxycodone; second-degree possession with intent to distribute a controlled dangerous substance within 500 feet of a public place; third-degree possession with intent to distribute a controlled dangerous substance within 1,000 feet of school property; and possession of drug paraphernalia, a disorderly persons offense.
On July 2, 2026, Williams was located during a motor vehicle stop in the Rio Grande section of Middle Township.
He was arrested on the outstanding warrant related to this investigation and lodged at the Cape May County Correctional Center pending a detention hearing.
