Three men arrested on assault charges in Medford Township

MEDFORD TOWNSHIP, NJ — Three men were arrested and charged with assault and terroristic threats after allegedly shooting at juveniles with Orbeez guns in two municipalities.

The Medford Township Police Department and the Medford Lakes Police Department received multiple reports between 8:30 p.m. and 11:30 p.m. June 25 of a vehicle driving throughout both jurisdictions using Orbeez guns to shoot juveniles.

Victims reported that three males driving a dark-colored Jeep Cherokee with a broken side passenger window covered with plastic drove up to them and shot projectiles at them with Orbeez guns.

A total of 16 juveniles were injured in both Medford Township and Medford Lakes Borough.

Medford Township Police located the vehicle at 11:38 p.m. and conducted a motor vehicle stop in the area of Stokes Road and Nelson Drive.

The occupants were identified as Jake Holmes, Cayden Reider and Youssef H. Elshoreya.

The three men admitted to shooting juveniles with Orbeez guns, according to police.

Holmes, Reider and Elshoreya were arrested and charged with assault and terroristic threats.
