WELLS, VT — A Wells man was arrested early Saturday morning following a domestic disturbance that left a family member with serious injuries.
Troopers from the Vermont State Police – Rutland Barracks responded to a residence in Wells at approximately 1:29 a.m. on June 28, 2026.
Through investigation, troopers determined that Daryl Shaw, 37, of Wells, caused serious bodily injury to a family or household member.
Shaw was taken into custody and transported to the Castleton Police Department for processing.
Shaw was charged with aggravated domestic assault and interference with access to emergency services.
A judicial officer ordered Shaw held without bail.
The Castleton Police Department assisted the Vermont State Police with the incident.
