UPPER ALLEN, PA — Police arrested a woman early Friday after she allegedly drove onto a residential property while intoxicated and forced her way into a home.
Officers from the Upper Allen Police Department responded to a report of an unauthorized, intoxicated individual at a residence in the township at approximately 2:22 a.m. June 26.
An investigation determined that Melisa Dedic, 21, of Mechanicsburg, had driven to the location while under the influence.
Upon arriving at the scene, Dedic drove her vehicle through the property’s yard and against the structure of the house, causing damage to both, police said.
She then forced entry into the residence by pushing in a rear bedroom window, according to police.
Dedic was arrested at the scene and transported to Cumberland County Central Booking for processing and arraignment.
She was charged with criminal trespass, DUI, criminal mischief and trespass by motor vehicle.
