SHREWSBURY, PA — Police are seeking the public’s help to identify a man suspected of passing counterfeit $10 bills at the Shrewsbury Carnival on Saturday evening.
The suspect is described as a white male wearing a long sleeve flannel shirt and dark jeans.
He was wearing a hat with the label “pagans” and has neck tattoos and a neck chain, according to the Pennsylvania Southern Regional Police Department.
The man was accompanied by another white male and a white female.
The group patronized several stands at the fire department fundraiser and passed the fake currency, police said.
Authorities are asking anyone who took pictures or videos at the carnival to review them to see if they captured the suspects.
Anyone with information is asked to submit tips through the department’s Crimewatch site.
