Man arrested on prostitution charge in Saugerties

SAUGERTIES, NY — A man was arrested on a prostitution-related charge on June 24, 2026.

James O. Carmody, 27, of Kingston, was arrested at approximately 10:45 p.m. by the Saugerties Police Department.

Carmody was charged with patronizing a person for prostitution in the third degree, a misdemeanor.

The arrest occurred at 2790 Route 32.

Carmody was processed at the Saugerties Police Department and transported to Centralized Arraignment Part court in Kingston for arraignment.

He was arraigned on June 25, 2026.
