MEREDITH, NH — A motorcyclist was killed in a crash on Interstate 93 southbound Saturday afternoon.
State troopers assigned to the Troop D barracks responded to a report of a motorcycle crash at 3:33 p.m. June 20.
The preliminary investigation determined that the rider of a red 2021 Honda CBR600RR motorcycle had, for reasons that remain under investigation, veered off the roadway before losing control and sliding across the center median to the tree line.
It was also determined that the crash likely occurred hours earlier.
The motorcyclist was identified as Miguel Garcia Jr., 22, of Nashua.
He was pronounced dead at the scene.
Troopers were assisted by members of the New Hampton Fire Department.
All aspects of the crash remain under investigation.
