MILTON, VT — A woman was cited for DUI refusal following a single-vehicle crash on Interstate 89 North early Sunday morning.
Vermont State Police received a report of a crash near mile marker 101.8 on Interstate 89 North at 1:28 a.m. June 20, 2026.
Troopers arrived and made contact with the operator, Nora Aronds, 30, of Burlington.
Aronds told troopers she was traveling north on the interstate when she spun out of control and struck a guardrail.
While speaking with Aronds, troopers detected indicators of impairment.
Aronds was taken into custody for suspicion of DUI and transported to the Vermont State Police barracks in Williston.
Upon completion of processing, Aronds was cited for DUI refusal.
She is scheduled to appear at Chittenden County criminal court on July 16, 2026, at 8:30 a.m.
