QUEENSBURY, NY — State Police arrested a woman on a charge of tampering with a juror.

Crystina Y. Dean, 36, of Bedford, was arrested June 15, 2026, and charged with Tampering with a Juror 1st, a class “A” misdemeanor.

Investigators were contacted Feb. 6, 2026, by the Warren County District Attorney’s Office, reporting that a potential juror had been tampered with.

The investigation determined that Dean, who was the defendant in an upcoming trial, contacted a third party residing out of state.

Dean allegedly requested that the individual contact a potential juror for her trial via social media and instruct the potential juror to provide false information to the court, which could influence the outcome of jury selection.

The potential juror notified the Juror Commissioner immediately and was relieved of their jury duty.

Dean was produced from the Bedford Correctional Facility and transported to State Police Queensbury for processing.

She was arraigned at the Queensbury Town Court and then returned to the Bedford Correctional Facility.
