HOOKSETT, NH — A Manchester woman died after her vehicle struck a tree at an intersection on June 18, 2026.
The Hooksett Police Department responded to a motor vehicle accident on Smyth Road at the intersection with Prescott Heights Road at approximately 7:15 a.m.
A white Jeep Compass appeared to have left the roadway and struck a tree.
The operator and sole occupant was identified as Jessica Gurney, 42, of Manchester.
She was transported from the scene to the hospital where she died of injuries sustained in the crash.
The roadway was shut down for several hours while the Hooksett Crash Reconstruction Unit was on scene.
The cause of the crash is under investigation.
