EASTON, PA — Forks Township Police responded to 1600 Uhler Road for a report of a stolen tractor trailer on June 2 at approximately 2:06 p.m.
The owner of SMR Trucking reported that a driver was supposed to turn over the truck to another driver after completing a delivery but failed to do so.
The driver was identified as Le Damien Earl Flowers, 35, of California.
Police contacted Flowers by phone, but he was not receptive to the officer, stated police could not arrest him and hung up, according to authorities.
The victim provided real-time GPS location of the truck to police, who forwarded the information to California Highway Patrol.
The truck was recovered.
The Northampton County District Attorney’s Office approved charges of theft by unlawful taking and unauthorized use of automobiles.
Judge Hutnik issued an arrest warrant on June 12.
