WARRINGTON, PA — A Philadelphia woman was arrested after a years-long search on charges related to identity theft and credit card fraud.

Katie Testa, 39, of Philadelphia, was taken into custody by Bristol Township Police on June 11.

On Feb. 9, 2024, at approximately 4:45 p.m., a Warrington Police officer observed suspicious activity involving a male identified as Andrew Fehrle of Philadelphia in front of a Target store.

Fehrle later met with Testa, and the two entered a vehicle with an Uber sign in the window.

Police stopped the vehicle and began an investigation.

Officers learned that Fehrle and Testa had purchased $400 worth of gift cards at Lowe’s at 425 Easton Road.

The pair could not provide the credit card used to make the purchase, and officers released them.

The investigation revealed that Fehrle and Testa allegedly stole the identity of a woman in South Carolina and obtained a credit card in the victim’s name.

The total amount charged on the victim’s credit card was $7,000.

Testa was charged with identity theft, theft by unlawful taking, access device fraud and receiving stolen property.

Following her arrest, Testa was transported to the Bucks County Correctional Facility.

She was arraigned before Judge Wertman, who set bail at $200,000 or 10 percent cash.
