MEDFORD TOWNSHIP, NJ — A motorcyclist was seriously injured in a crash on June 16, 2026.
Police, fire and EMS responded to the area of Hawkin Road and Chairville Road at 1:29 p.m. for a motor vehicle crash involving a motorcycle.
Jesse Ferrara, 21, of Shamong, was traveling east on Hawkin Road on a 2019 Ducati motorcycle when a 2012 Honda operated by Marc Sengin, 74, of Medford, attempted to make a U-turn on Hawkin Road.
The motorcycle was approaching the area and applied hard braking to avoid the collision.
The motorcyclist lost control of the motorcycle and slid into the Honda.
Ferrara sustained serious injuries and was flown to Cooper University Hospital.
The crash is being investigated by the Medford Township Traffic Safety Unit.
