HARTFORD, CT — Police are investigating a homicide after a woman was found shot to death in a vehicle on Magnolia Street early Friday.
Officers responded to the area of 149 Magnolia Street following a ShotSpotter notification.
Upon arrival, officers located a parked vehicle with an unresponsive woman in the driver’s seat suffering from multiple gunshot wounds.
The victim was pronounced dead at the scene.
Officers also located a second woman on the sidewalk suffering from a gunshot wound.
That victim, a woman in her thirties, was transported to an area hospital, where she was listed in stable condition.
The Hartford Police Major Crimes and Crime Scene Divisions have assumed the investigation.
The deceased victim was identified as Diana Tirado, 45, of New Britain.
The investigation remains active and ongoing.
