GRANVILLE, NY — State Police arrested a Granville man on a sexual abuse charge June 8, 2026.
Ricky M. Baker, 46, was charged with Sexual Abuse 2nd, a class “A” misdemeanor.
Troopers received information June 1, 2026, indicating a past sexual assault of a child.
The investigation determined that in 2013, Baker allegedly had sexual contact with a child under the age of 14 while in Granville.
Baker surrendered himself to State Police in Granville, where he was arrested and processed.
He was issued an appearance ticket returnable to Granville Town Court on July 7, 2026, and released.
