Man shot in Hartford

HARTFORD, CT — Police are investigating a shooting that left a man in his twenties injured.

Hartford Police officers responded to 605 Mary Shepard Place following a report of a shooting.

Upon arrival, officers located a victim of gunfire.

The victim sustained a non-life-threatening gunshot wound and was transported by EMS to an area hospital for treatment.

The Hartford Police Major Crimes and Crime Scene Divisions responded and have assumed the investigation.
