WARRINGTON, PA — Police arrested a woman on a retail theft charge after she allegedly ignored a trespass warning at a grocery store on June 6, 2026.
Amanda Rose Hatkevich, 43, of Hatboro, was taken into custody at Wegmans on Main Street.
Police responded to the store for a report of retail theft.
Loss prevention staff told officers they recognized Hatkevich from a 2019 incident during which she was advised she was not permitted in the store.
Loss prevention observed Hatkevich selecting numerous items and concealing them in her purse, according to police.
She made a small purchase and exited the store while failing to pay for $28.97 worth of merchandise, police said.
Hatkevich was arrested and transported to the police station where she was processed and released.
She was charged with retail theft.
