Man arrested on DUI charge in Lyndonville

LYNDONVILLE, VT — A Barton man was arrested early Thursday morning on charges of driving under the influence and criminal driving with a suspended license.

Tanner Grandfield, 34, of Barton, was stopped on East Street at approximately 12:09 a.m. May 29 after a Lyndonville police officer observed a motor vehicle violation.

Following an investigation, police determined Grandfield had operated his vehicle while under the influence of alcohol.

Grandfield was taken into custody and later released on citation.

He is scheduled to appear in Caledonia County Criminal Court on June 15 at 8:30 a.m.

The Vermont State Police assisted the Lyndonville Police Department in the case.
