Woman killed in Glenburn crash

GLENBURN, ME — A Bradford woman died following a two-vehicle crash at the intersection of Hudson Road and Pushaw Road on May 26.

Linda Burrill, 65, of Bradford, was a passenger in a black 2020 Chevrolet Equinox that was traveling southbound on Hudson Road at approximately 10:17 a.m., according to the Penobscot County Sheriff’s Office.

A blue 2017 Chevrolet Silverado pulling a trailer was traveling northbound on Hudson Road and also approaching the intersection.

The operator of the Equinox attempted to make a left-hand turn onto Pushaw Road directly in front of the oncoming Silverado, resulting in a collision, according to the sheriff’s office.

Burrill sustained fatal injuries and was pronounced deceased at the scene.

The male operator of the Equinox and the occupants of the Silverado sustained minor injuries.

The crash remains under investigation.
