ROSENDALE, NY — A Milton man was arrested on multiple charges following a traffic stop on June 5, 2026.
Edwards Steffens, 35, of Milton, was stopped for a traffic violation when he exited his vehicle and fled, according to the Rosendale Police Department.
After he was apprehended, an investigation was conducted at the scene.
Steffens was charged with failing to keep right, a violation; operating without a license, a violation; driving while intoxicated, a misdemeanor; aggravated driving while intoxicated blood alcohol content, a misdemeanor; and obstruction of governmental administration in the second degree, a misdemeanor.
He was processed and released and is scheduled to appear in Rosendale Town Court at a later date.
