HORNELL, NY — A woman was arrested June 6, 2026, after allegedly shoving another person who was holding a child.
Khatia Ellis, 31, of Hornell, was charged with endangering the welfare of a child, disorderly conduct and harassment in the second degree.
City of Hornell police responded to Platt Street for a reported disturbance.
An investigation revealed that Ellis allegedly shoved another person while they were holding a child and was acting disorderly while in a public place, according to police.
Ellis was taken into custody without incident.
She was released on an appearance ticket to appear in Hornell City Court at a later date.
