MARION, MA — Police investigated a report of a suspicious substance found on a school playground Monday evening.
The Marion Police Department received a report at approximately 6:30 p.m. June 8 that a clear glove containing a white powdery substance was found on the rear playground of Sippican School.
An officer was dispatched and located and secured the glove.
The substance was field-tested by the Plymouth County Bureau of Investigation Unit and determined to be baking soda.
The substance tested negative for illegal narcotics.
