Three arrested in Pawtucket

PAWTUCKET, RI — State police arrested three people on various charges between June 8 and June 9, 2026.

On June 8 at 2:30 p.m., troopers arrested Giovany Dorvil, 19, of Randolph, Massachusetts, as a fugitive from justice for kidnapping and witness intimidation originating out of the Boston Police Department.

The arrest was the result of troopers assisting the Providence County Sheriff’s Department with a subject in custody at the Sixth Division District Court.

Dorvil was processed and then arraigned at the Sixth Division District Court.

On June 9 at 12:10 a.m., troopers arrested Abel Perez, 18, of Providence, for domestic violation of a no contact order, first offense, and driving after suspension of license, certain violations.

The arrest was the result of a motor vehicle stop on Weeden Street.

Perez was processed at the Lincoln Woods Barracks and held overnight pending arraignment at the Sixth Division District Court.

On June 9 at 12:37 a.m., troopers arrested Georgie J. Estrella, 41, of Attleboro, Massachusetts, on 23 charges.

The charges include multiple counts of manufacturing, delivery and possession with intent to deliver controlled substances including crystal methamphetamine, fentanyl, LSD, crack cocaine, psilocybin, clonazepam, alprazolam and buprenorphine.

Estrella also faces firearms charges including carrying a pistol or revolver without a license or permit, possession of a firearm by certain persons prohibited, carrying a firearm when committing a crime of violence, possession of a firearm while committing a controlled substance violation and alteration of marks of identification on firearms.

Additional charges include second degree carjacking, attempted larceny over $10,000, assault on a police officer, vandalism, resisting arrest, obstructing a police officer in the execution of duty and disorderly conduct.

Estrella also faces three Providence County Superior Court bench warrants for failure to appear.
