ITALY, NY — A Naples man was arrested following a reported physical altercation with a minor on June 5.
Jack W. Minteer, 63, of Naples, was charged with endangering the welfare of a child and second-degree harassment.
Deputies responded to 6066 Italy Valley Rd. at approximately 7:11 p.m. for a report of harassment.
Upon arrival, deputies investigated an incident involving Minteer and a 15-year-old minor.
Evidence at the scene indicated Minteer had an unprovoked physical altercation with the minor, according to the Yates County Sheriff’s Office.
Minteer was transported to the Yates County Jail, where he was being held awaiting centralized arraignment.
