CAPE MAY, NJ — A Cape May man has been arrested in connection with multiple domestic violence-related incidents, police announced.
Aucelio Juarez-Ruiz was taken into custody following an investigation that began May 27 when a victim reported she had been assaulted on multiple occasions during February and April, according to Cape May Police Chief Dekon Fashaw.
Juarez-Ruiz faces charges including aggravated assault by strangulation, aggravated assault on a domestic violence victim, aggravated assault causing serious bodily injury, terroristic threats to kill, unlawful possession of a weapon and possession of a weapon for an unlawful purpose.
He was transported to the Cape May County Correctional Center, where he is being held pending a detention hearing.
