LINDEN, NJ — Detectives are investigating a shooting that occurred Friday night.
Officers responded to a home on East 12th Street in the area of South Wood Avenue at about 11:40 p.m. on reports of shots fired.
According to initial reports, unknown suspects fired multiple shots.
Blocks away, a home on the 1200 block of Woodlawn Avenue was struck by the gunfire.
No injuries were reported.
Detectives do not believe this was a random act of violence, and at this time there is no known threat to the general public.
