ENOSBURGH, VT — A St. Albans man was arrested on an outstanding warrant early Sunday morning.
On June 6, 2026, at approximately 12:36 a.m., troopers from the St. Albans Barracks were speaking with individuals about an unrelated incident on Reservoir Road when they observed Jason Bessette, 29, of St. Albans.
Troopers knew Bessette had an active warrant for his arrest.
Bessette was taken into custody on the warrant.
He was transported to Northwest State Correctional Facility in St. Albans, where he was held on $1,000 bail.
Bessette was issued a flash citation ordering him to appear before the Franklin County Criminal Court on June 8, 2026, at 1 p.m.
The warrant contained two counts of vehicle operation with license suspended for DUI.
