EVANS, NY — The Town of Evans Police Department is investigating a serious injury crash that occurred on Southwestern Boulevard just east of Gowans Road on June 4, 2026, at 6:02 p.m.
A 2023 gray Nissan with Massachusetts plates collided head-on with a white 2026 Nissan Rogue with New York plates.
The driver of the Nissan Altima, Grady J. Marshall, 24, of Shrewsbury, Massachusetts, was taken to Erie County Medical Center with apparent minor injuries.
Marshall was charged with driving while intoxicated, a misdemeanor, and vehicular assault in the second degree, an E felony, along with other minor vehicle and traffic law violations.
Additional charges are pending.
The driver of the Nissan Rogue, a 67-year-old woman, was taken to Erie County Medical Center with serious physical injuries.
Her name is being withheld at this time.
The accident is being investigated by the Town of Evans Accident Investigation Unit.
