Two arrested on larceny charges in Spring Valley

SPRING VALLEY, NY — Two people were arrested in connection with a vehicle larceny investigation that began May 19.

The Spring Valley Police Department responded to the parking lot of 175 East Route 59 at approximately 11:59 a.m. following a report of a larceny from a motor vehicle.

The victim reported that an unknown individual had shattered the front driver-side window of his vehicle and stolen a wallet containing cash and credit cards.

Investigation revealed that the stolen credit cards had been used at the Palisades Center Mall.

Sydeesa Sisco, 29, of Spring Valley and Terrence Rabel, 33, of Spring Valley were arrested May 26.

Both defendants were charged with Criminal Mischief in the Third Degree, Grand Larceny in the Fourth Degree, Criminal Possession of Stolen Property in the Fourth Degree, and Petit Larceny.

Rabel was also charged in connection with two additional vehicle larceny investigations.

Sisco was charged in connection with one additional vehicle larceny investigation.

Both defendants were arraigned before Judge Sweet and remanded to the Rockland County Jail.
