Lockdown lifted after panic button activation at high school in Windham

WINDHAM, NH — The Windham Police Department responded to a panic button activation at Windham High School at approximately 1 p.m. today.

Windham High School immediately initiated a lockdown per emergency protocol.

Windham Police units, along with Hudson Police and Pelham Police, conducted a thorough search of the building and determined no threat was present.

The lockdown was subsequently lifted at approximately 2 p.m.

The cause of the activation is being investigated.
