BATH, NY — A man wanted in Maryland on an armed robbery charge was arrested by Steuben County sheriff’s deputies.
Amari J. Lee, 27, of Bath, was taken into custody May 26 following a report of an active warrant from Maryland for armed robbery, according to Steuben County Sheriff Jim Allard.
Lee is accused of failing to appear in Maryland on the armed robbery charge.
He was charged as a fugitive from justice.
Lee was arraigned in Centralized Arraignment Court and remanded to the Steuben County Jail without bail to await extradition.
