JAMESTOWN, NY — A man was arrested following a domestic dispute on the east side of the city late Thursday night.
Jack E. Wyant was taken into custody after officers from the Jamestown Police Department’s Third Platoon and New York State Police responded to a disturbance in progress at around 11:04 p.m. May 27, 2026.
Police said Wyant engaged in a physical altercation that caused injuries to the victim.
Investigators determined the victim is the protected party in a stay-away order of protection against Wyant.
Wyant was transported to Jamestown City Jail without incident.
He is being held pending arraignment on charges of aggravated criminal contempt and third-degree assault.
