SALAMANCA, NY — A woman was taken into custody on a warrant and drug charge on Washington Street.
Kayla M. Greene, 21, of Napoli, was arrested at 4:56 p.m. Tuesday by deputies assigned to the Seneca Nation Allegany Territory.
Deputies observed Greene walking on Washington Street and determined she had an active bench warrant from the City of Olean from a prior drug arrest.
Greene was found to be in possession of a quantity of suspected crystal methamphetamine, according to the Cattaraugus County Sheriff’s Office.
She was transported to the sheriff’s office for processing.
Greene was issued an appearance ticket for criminal possession of a controlled substance in the seventh degree for return to the City of Salamanca.
She was then transported to the Cattaraugus County Jail where she was held pending further proceedings.
