SAUGERTIES, NY — A 27-year-old man was arrested on theft-related charges May 22, 2026.
Joel A. Mena, of Tuckahoe, was taken into custody at approximately 9:30 a.m. on Route 9W.
He was charged with criminal possession of stolen property in the fifth degree and petit larceny, both misdemeanors.
Mena was processed at the Saugerties Police Department and released on an appearance ticket.
He is scheduled to appear in Town of Saugerties Justice Court at a later date.
The New York State Police assisted the Saugerties Police Department.
